Terms

I will not start your commission until I receive payment. I’ll need about 3 weeks for each commission. If I have a large load of commissions, depending on where you fall in line, your wait time may be a little longer than 3 weeks and I will let you know. I don’t do refunds: there should be enough communication between you and I to get the final product right.

You are buying a digital product. You will not receive a physical product unless you specified for one on the form and paid for one.

How to buy a commission

To see what's available, go to the "COMMISSION MENU" page. There, you'll find the different styles I offer and their prices. Once you've settled on something, scroll to the bottom and you'll see a button for the commission form. *If you do not have a Google account, select the second button below titled "ALTERNATE FORM."* You'll be sent to a Google form to fill out what you'd like to commission me for. Make sure to submit it! If I accept, we get down to business and I take your payment via a Paypal invoice. My email for PayPal is elisahob@gmail.com, so you know what to look for. Once I receive the payment, I get to work (whilst sending you updates and whatnot). When I’m done I’ll send you a specialized DeviantArt Sta.sh link, for you to download your piece, and any shipping information if you ordered a print.

Max is 2 individuals. Additional persons are $5/person.

Buying an existing picture

If you'd like an existing piece of mine as a print, we just go through the usual commission steps to determine its worth.

Commission rights

This piece is yours and yours alone. You're free to do what you want with the file I send you. I may throw your commission on my Tumblr/Twitter with a watermark simply for self advertising. The form has a question asking whether or not you are okay with this, so answer accordingly.

Communication

We can continue to communicate via email after I send you your invoice or you can include the method you want to communicate on the commissions form page. It can be via Tumblr, Twitter, DeviantArt, or Discord.  Just be sure to include your username so I can send you the updates.

Full background pricing

Completing a full background can take more work and time than the actual subject of the piece. The background style will be the same as the subject or stylistically complementary to the style of the subject. The price for a full background doesn't include added individuals or extra requests. If you want a 3/4 body, digital paint piece with a full background and six people, the background price is still $60. Additional persons fee is added separately. The price broken down would be: Digital paint-3/4 body ($60) + Fullbackground ($60) + Additional persons fee ($5 x 4) = $140.

Original characters (OCs)

Be sure to check "yes" in the OC field and include reference photos in the reference photo section of the form. Take note that the file upload limit is 1 GB. OCs require more communication so make sure your choice of conversing can send and receive pictures well. If you are using the alternate form, include at least one photo reference link in the description for approval purposes. You can then link the rest of the reference photos in the description, reply with the rest of the reference photos to the confirmation email, or send them to me through whichever DM you've chosen. If you don't have a link, don't be afraid to reach out to me before you fill out the form and send them to me.

Price range

The most expensive art piece you can buy that's within the max persons limit is $130. On the flip side, the cheapest thing you can get that's not a ko-fi sketch ($3) is $20. In general, the average price range of orders I receive are usually between $20-$30.

***We're trying out prints! The 4x6 will be $11, 8.5x11 will be $13, and the 13X19 will be $15.

Quality

The dimensions vary depending on whatever fits the composition best when I complete the commission, though they tend to revolve around 4:5 (or flipped). If you need it significantly larger or smaller, or a specific dimension such as a computer wallpaper (16:9), please let me know.  Preliminary sketches are 72 dpi. The final image resolution is 144 dpi.

What exactly am I buying here?

My art. What you're paying for is a digital product and you will not receive a physical product unless you ask and pay for one
